The art of makeup is the enhancement of  beauty, or the art of beautifying the human body.

There are so many techniques, it’s up to each individual to study and choose the method that best fits his/her style.

There are different areas of specialization when it comes to makeup. Here are the basic factors to study before applying makeup: the occasion, colour of costume, skin type, skin colour, shape of the face, hairstyle, hair colour  and the weather.

Video shoots can be very challenging, as the makeup artist may be required to apply makeup at a moment’s notice several times during the course of the shoot.

Here’s a gallery of pictures and a video from the makeup work I did for Dj Zeez’s Shuma video. This took place at Nicon Noga Hilton Hotel in VGC, Lagos.
